Oscars - Random Questions

The Academy Awards, more commonly known as the Oscars, are the oldest and probably the best known film awards. The first Oscars ceremony was held in May, 1929. Except for the early years, the awards honor films made during the previous calendar year.

Like many other awards, nominees and winners don't always reflect the greatest that cinematic history has to offer. Never the less, the winners have a great impact on the films we see - and the films that are made.

Some of the films we didn't expect to win were Crash (2005), Chicago (2002), Shakespeare in Love (1998), Driving Miss Daisy (1989), and Chariots of Fire (1981). Do you still remember them?
