Divided highway ends. The divided highway on which you are traveling ends ahead. You will then be on an undivided roadway with two-way traffic. Keep to the right.

Merging Traffic sign. You are approaching a point where other traffic lanes come together with the one you are in. Watch for traffic from that direction. Be ready to change your speed and lane to allow other motorists to merge safely.

The sign indicates that you must slow down and be ready to stop, if necessary. You must let any vehicle, bicyclist, or pedestrian pass before you proceed. It does not have the same meaning as a steady yellow signal, which indicates that the traffic light is changing to red.

Keep right. A traffic island, divider, or obstacle where traffic must keep right is ahead. Stay on the right side of the island or divider.

A yellow and black circular sign indicates that you are approaching a railroad crossing. You must look, listen, slow down, and prepare to stop, if necessary. Let any trains pass before you proceed. Remember, it is the only circular sign in California and USA. The Do Not Enter or Roundabout signs are not circular!

Note the difference between Curve and Turn signs. This sign does not indicate a sharp turn.

This sign is used to prohibit shoulder parking, particularly where scenic or other attractions create a tendency for road users to stop temporarily. Stop and park only in a real emergency.
