Downtown Las Vegas Street Art
When you are in Las Vegas, you should hop on a bus or take a cab downtown for some exceptional street art. It’s a cool getaway from the busy Strip.
You should know that downtown Las Vegas and the famous Strip are not the same thing. Downtown Las Vegas is actually the “old” Las Vegas which centers around Fremont Street. Unlike the Strip, buildings here are low rise. Even if you will find many Casinos here, there is not the same kind of hustle as on the Strip. It is a more relaxed atmosphere and a kind of arty vibe.
Between 5th and 9th street and running along Ogden Ave east of Las Vegas Blvd., you’ll find some exceptionally good street art. The area hosts the International Art Basel Festival and Life is Beautiful Festival each year. Both have hosted my famous street artists.

Get away from the Strip and allow some hours to explore the area, you won’t regret it. You will probably be blown away by some of the murals; they are indeed fantastic.
