The Swiss city of Geneva is known as the world's peace capital. It is home to the United Nations European headquarters, and many peace negotiations have occurred in the city. But it is not a capital city. The capital of Switzerland is Bern.

The city was founded in 1890 and was initially named Fort Salisbury after the UK Prime Minister Lord Salisbury. Salisbury later became the seat of the Southern Rhodesian (later Rhodesian) government and, between 1953-63, the capital of the Central African Federation. It was renamed Harare in 1982 after Zimbabwe gained independence from the United Kingdom.

Finland is a Nordic country bordered by Sweden to the west, Norway to the north, Russia to the east, and Estonia to the south over the Gulf of Finland.

Amman is the capital of Jordan. It is the country's economic, political, and cultural center. Amman has a population of more than 4 million and a land area of 1,680 square km.

Ankara has been the capital of Turkey since 1923 and is the country's second-largest city, Istanbul being the largest.

Mogadishu, known locally as Xamar or Hamar, is Somalia's capital and most populous city.

Luanda is Angola's capital and largest city, and the country's most populous and important city.

Bogotá is the capital city of Colombia.
